The Town of Prescott Valley will host over 11 artists exhibiting and demonstrating a wide variety of mediums at the newly relocated Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department Building adjacent to the Prescott Valley Public Library.
The Arts and Culture Division of the Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department strives to advance the development of a greater, more wholesome and enriching community together through people, parks and art programs dedicated to the Town’s core values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and Fun. The Arts and Culture Division along with the Prescott Valley Parks, Arts, and Recreation Commission (PARC) advise the Town Council on matters pertaining to our parks, visual, and performing arts for community recreation.
In addition to the Studio Tour, guests may be interested in touring our public “Art at the Center” sculptures that comprise our permanent and temporary collection. Public art, by its nature, is meant to be an integral component of the landscape. In our selection of outstanding sculptures, you will see a variety of media and approaches to form created by a variety of artisans, both local and from around the US. This collection is located throughout the campus, both outdoors and indoors, at the Civic Center, Library, and Police Department. New pocket maps with details about the collection are available on site along with QR codes affiliated with each sculpture to allow guests to enjoy a self-guided tour of our sculpture collection.
