Demo: using color layers for drama

I have been working in mostly watercolor since the mid 80's. My art has taken me to many places I would have never been able to without my creations. Through showing my works in many different venues, I have received many awards. I have authored several published books.
What Inspires Me: Nature, flowers, birds are a few of the things that inspire me. People, places and things arranged with just the right amout of light. Colors that simple.
What Influences My Art: I love digging deep into my subjects finding the small details that one might miss simply by glancing. When looking at a well-done work of art, then contemplating just how that was achieved. I then work has hard as possible to improve my own works.
