An extension of the ‘Tis Art Center and Gallery on Cortez Street, the ‘Tis Annex Art Education Building on Marina Street is the creative hot spot for ‘Tis art education programs. It is the home of the tuition-free STEPS Art Education Program for children ages 5 and up. In addition, it provides the community with classroom spaces specifically tailored to accommodate artist workshops and stand art classes for art lovers of all ages.
For the weekend of the Prescott Area Artist Studio Tour, the entire ‘Tis Annex building becomes a gallery and workspace for five ’Tis artists to exhibit, demonstrate, sell their art, and share their stories.
