Trained as a woodworker, sculptor and photographer I have been featured in galleries in Arizona and New York. I have multiple degrees in art and have worked and taught the craft of each for over 40 years. I create furniture and photography with a focus on the sculptural beauty in both.
​What Inspires Me: I'm inspired by the sculptural spaces seen in everyday life. Whether a tree, a body of water or a human form, I'm drawn to the shapes they create in their surroundings.
What Influences My Art: My work is many-faceted and is influenced by the masters in all areas that I work. From Wendell Castle to Greene and Greene, to Dali, Henry Moore, and Cartier-Bresson their influence can be seen with each piece I create.
How I Recycle/Upcycle: I make keepsake boxes and serving boards out of the scrap wood that is left over from my furniture and sculptural work
