Artist Criteria
Artist's studios must be in the Quad-Cities area.
All artwork must be consistent with that submitted for judging.
All artwork must be available for sale.
Only goods/services relating to a Tour Artist’s artwork may be for sale during the Tour. No unrelated art items, manufactured, or commercial goods may be exhibited or sold. The Tour is intended to be a showcase for original artwork.
Locations on the Tour must be artists’ personal studios and may not be galleries which exhibit multiple artists or retail spaces that sell items other than the artist’s artwork or goods related to it.
All Tour Studios must be open from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. and the Artists must be present during all three days of the Tour.
Jury Criteria The Studio Tour is a juried event, and the images you submit of your artwork are judged using the following criteria:
The artwork indicates a consistent technical proficiency with the medium and demonstrates an understanding of formal elements of art.
The artwork reflects a coherent individual style and originality.
The artwork is representative of what you have created in the last two years and will have available during the Tour.
If Accepted
You may choose to be in your own studio, be a host studio for other juried artists, or be included in another host studio. Details are in the application.
If you need a studio for the Tour, the Tour Committee will help you find one.
Tour Studios with more than one artist receive substantially more visitors than studios with only one artist. Therefore, we encourage artists to band together whenever possible.
2025 Art Supporters - We Need Your Help Getting Them
Deadline to be in the 2025 printed Guide is July 1, 2025
Art Supporters are businesses and individuals who support the Tour by purchasing an ad or listing in the printed Guide and on the Tour website - both for one price. We need your help now to get Art Supporters. Here's why:
Artists' application fees do not cover all Tour expenses.
The money we get from the sale of ads and listings helps offset the cost of advertising, printing, and other expenses.
The more Art Supporters we get the more advertising we can do which helps bring visitors to your studio during the Tour.
We ask that each artist get at least one Art Supporter from among the businesses they routinely use or friends and family. Many businesses and individuals are happy to take a $60 one-line listing to support the Studio Tour. In past years, several artists have purchased a personal listing or ad.
Here's where to find all the information you need to get Art Supporters.
Ad Spec Sheet - shows the different sizes of ads available.
Download and print the letter, form, and ad spec sheet and take them with you as you talk to potential Art Supporters. You may also wish to take a copy of the 2024 Studio Tour Guide with you to show its quality. Guides are available in a plastic box outside the door of Suite 105, 697 6th St, Prescott.
You may want to guide a potential Art Supporter to the Art Supporter page on the Tour website - www.prescottstudiotour.com/be-an-art-supporter.html- where they can complete the form, attach any artwork, and securely pay online. That saves them the extra steps of writing a check and mailing it, the form and any artwork.

Raffle Sign The Raffle Sign lists the prices of tickets and explains where proceeds will be used. Display it next to the item you are raffling.
We encourage all Tour artists to donate and raffle a piece of your art. Studio Tour visitors love the possibility of winning a unique piece of art. The money they spend on raffle tickets helps to fund next year’s Tour and art programs for children in the Quad-City area.
Studio Tour Mailing List Sign-Up Sheet Use the sign-up sheet to capture the names of visitors who would like information about the Tour emailed or mailed to them.
Make as many copies of the Sign-Up Sheet as needed.
Use this Sign-Up Sheet in place of a "guest book" or "guest sign-in sheets". You may keep copies for your records.
Encourage visitors to sign up, but also let them know they only need to sign up at one Tour location.
Encourage visitors to indicate if they live outside the Quad-City area. This information is critical for receiving grant funding which we use for advertising and publicity.
Please bring the completed Sign-Up Sheets to the Post-Tour Potluck Party on October 14, 2023 or mail them to Lynn Schmitt, Prescott Studio Tour, 697 6th Street, Suite 105, Prescott AZ 86301.
We use these Sign-Up Sheets to add to and update both our mailing list and our email list. If everyone uses the same Sign-up Sheet, it makes it much easier to accurately enter the information in our database. Your help is greatly appreciated.
