2023 Tour Tips Helpful tips for both new and experienced Tour Artists. Ideas to help you have a successful Tour.
2023 Important Dates There are lots of activities leading up to the Studio Tour from. This is a handy list of dates you need to reserve for Studio Tour activities. Be sure to mark your calendar.
Raffle Sign The Raffle Sign lists the prices of tickets and explains where proceeds will be used. Display it next to the item you are raffling.
We encourage all Tour artists to donate and raffle a piece of your art. Studio Tour visitors love the possibility of winning a unique piece of art. The money they spend on raffle tickets helps to fund next year’s Tour and art programs for children in the Quad-City area.
Studio Tour Mailing List Sign-Up Sheet Use the sign-up sheet to capture the names of visitors who would like information about the Tour emailed or mailed to them.
Make as many copies of the Sign-Up Sheet as needed.
Use this Sign-Up Sheet in place of a "guest book" or "guest sign-in sheets". You may keep copies for your records.
Encourage visitors to sign up, but also let them know they only need to sign up at one Tour location.
Encourage visitors to indicate if they live outside the Quad-City area. This information is critical for receiving grant funding which we use for advertising and publicity.
Please bring the completed Sign-Up Sheets to the Post-Tour Potluck Party on October 8, 2022 or mail them to Lynn Schmitt, Prescott Studio Tour, 697 6th Street, Suite 105, Prescott AZ 86301.
We use these Sign-Up Sheets to add to and update both our mailing list and our email list. If everyone uses the same Sign-up Sheet, it makes it much easier to accurately enter the information in our database. Your help is greatly appreciated.
2024 Tour Application If you are interested in applying for the 2024 Studio Tour which will be October 4, 5, & 6, please send an email to committee@prescottstudiotour.com. We will add you to the Call for Artists email list, so you automatically receive an application in February 2024.
The Studio Tour is open to all artists in the Quad-City area: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Paulden, Dewey-Humboldt, Mayer and surrounding communities.
If juried into the Tour, artists may choose to be in their own studio, be a host studio for other juried artists, or be included in another host studio. If you need a studio for the Tour, the Tour Committee will help you find one.
Tour Studios with more than one artist receive substantially more visitors than studios with only one artist. Therefore, we encourage artists to band together whenever possible.
2023 Art Supporter Information
Unfortunately, artists' application fees do not cover all Tour expenses. The money we get from the sale of ads and listings helps offset the cost of advertising, printing, and other Tour expenses. The more Art Supporters we get the more advertising we can do and the more Studio Tour Guides we can print, all of which help bring visitors to your studio during the Tour.
We need your help now to get Art Supporters. We ask that each artist get at least one Art Supporter from among the businesses they routinely use or friends and family. Many businesses and individuals are happy to take a $50 one-line listing to support the Studio Tour. In past years, several artists have purchased a personal listing or ad.
Here's where to find all the information you need to get Art Supporters.
Ad Spec Sheet - shows the different sizes of ads available.
Download and print the letter, form, and ad spec sheet and take them with you as you talk to potential Art Supporters. You may also wish to take a few Tour rack cards with you to leave behind. Rack cards are available in a plastic box outside the door of Suite 105, 697 6th St, Prescott.
