Demo: prepare a canvas for painting

I have worked over the past 50 years in oil, pastel, watercolor, fused/slumped glass and have dabbled in pottery. I came to art again late in life and love to work in oil and watercolor. Colors excite me. I know for a fact I will be involved with art in some way for the rest of my days.
What Inspires Me: I love to paint old cars/trucks, desert vistas and plants, flowers, animal and human portraiture, especially eyes. Vivid colors energize me. The work of Georgia O'Keeffe.
What Influences My Art: especially color, desert vistas in Arizona - the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Prescott
