Secondary Medium: Metal Demo: composition of oil painting images I am inspired to paint relaxing and positive visuals. People walking, reflecting. Landscapes revealing Nature's beauty. Animals' grace and silliness. Dynamic colorful abstracts. My metal sculptures also reveal graceful lines or happy animals. |
What Inspires Me: Nature's shapes and color inspire me to paint or create metal sculptures. These visuals balance out and calm the busyness of daily life and my active mind.
What Influences My Art: My strong visual aptitude was always present while writing/editing as a marketing/communications executive. Over decades I noticed shapes and balance of colors (in clothes too). Creating layout/design in copy was often as inspiring as writing. Living in NY/DC, and traveling globally, I had exposure to great museums of art! I'm blessed to be familiar with great works of art and artists.
