I started out as a young violinist in Tulsa, Okla, ended up in New York City at the Juilliard School of Music, earned my living in NY Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera, among others. Retired to AZ, studied drawing/painting at Yavapai College and with Paul Abbott. Finally got to be a painter!
​What Inspires Me: color, play of light and dark, people's body language and faces, skies, wildlife, both landscapes and creatures.
What Influences My Art: music; could be anything from Mozart, Bach, to Gypsy Kings, Andre Segovia playing guitar.
