What Is Provided
We provide each host artist or art center coordinator with yellow Studio Tour signs for them to use to direct visitors to their studio or Art Center.
  • The signs are loaned - free of charge.
  • Artists and Art Center Coordinators should store the signs and reuse them each year they are in the Tour.
  • Important: Should an artist or Art Center decide not to be in the Tour, then the signs must be returned so that they can be reused.

​Each artist and Art Center Coordinator is initially given 5 signs which include these parts:
  • 18 x 24" yellow corplast sign imprinted with the Studio Tour logo on an H stand.
  • Adhesive arrows, 2 for each sign, to indicate direction - left, right or straight ahead.
  • Write your Tour Studio # in the space provided on each sign.
Artists and Art Center Coordinators are given the opportunity, annually, to order additional signs or replacement signs at no cost.

Important:
  • To get a great price ($12 each instead of $30), we only order signs once.
  • Therefore, it is important you respond to the email that is sent each June,

Determine the Number of Signs Needed
We strongly suggest you drive the various routes to your studio or Art Center to decide where you will need to place signs so visitors may easily find your studio.
 
If there are many cross streets or long stretches between a main street and your studio, you will want to place a sign every couple of blocks to keep visitors on the path to your studio.

When to Set Out & Pick Up
  • At the end of the day before the Studio Tour begins put out your yellow Studio Tour signs with the directional arrows pointing the way to your studio.
  • Bring in your signs Sunday evening, the last day of the Tour.
  • Important: You do not need to bring them in every night.
