As a museum dedicated to preserving the art, history, and legends of the American West, the Phippen provides a rich and inspiring backdrop for this special weekend. Our participation in the Studio Tour reflects the vision of George and Louise Phippen, who believed in supporting artists and creating opportunities for them to share their talents with the community.
During the Tour, the Phippen Museum will proudly host six talented artists in our Lower Level Gallery. Guests are welcome to enter through either the Main Entrance or the Lower Level to meet the artists, watch them work, and engage with their creative process. Access to these Studio Tour artists is completely free throughout the weekend.
We encourage visitors to enjoy both the visiting artists and our other galleries, which feature world-class exhibitions celebrating the spirit of the West. Join us on our FREE FRIDAY to see the artists and explore the museum at no cost—or visit Saturday and Sunday to see the artists for free and enjoy the full museum experience with standard admission.
