​We strongly encourage all artists to raffle a piece of their art during the Tour. Studio visitors love the opportunity to win a fabulous piece of art.
 
Raffle ticket sales provide funding for:
  • Children’s art programs in the Quad-City area. This provides a way for the Tour to give back to the community. Last year we were able to donate $4,000 to children's art programs thanks to your raffle ticket sales. 
  • Next year's Tour.​

The piece of art you select for the raffle doesn’t need to be expensive or large. Choose a piece that will catch the attention of visitors to your Tour Studio and make them want to purchase raffle tickets.
 
If you are hosting other artists in your Tour Studio, encourage each of your guest artists to contribute a piece for the raffle.
 
If you are a guest in another artist’s Tour Studio, talk with them about participating in the raffle.
All Tour Studio hosts receive 300 raffle tickets and a sign in their bag of Tour materials which is available in late August.
  • Post the raffle sign, which provides the cost of tickets, where it can’t be missed.
  • Arrange raffle tickets, an envelope for money, pens, a container for completed tickets, and the item to be raffled near the sign.
  • If there are multiple artists in your Tour Studio, you may want to place a container for completed raffle tickets in front of each item to be raffled so visitors can select which item they most want to win.
  • Important: Raffle tickets may be bought and used at any location on the Tour.
  • After 4 pm on Sunday, select the winning raffle ticket and call the winner to arrange for them to pick up the art they won. Set up a mutually convenient time for them to come back to your studio.
  • Important: If your item is hard to ship, make a sign saying it may only be picked up.
  • If you can, take a picture of the winner with the piece of art and post to your own Facebook page (tag @PrescottAreaArtistStudioTour) or Instagram feed (tag @PrescottArtistStudioTour). Be sure the winner is comfortable having their photo posted on social media.

​All raffle ticket proceeds should be returned to the Studio Tour by either:
  • Bringing them to the post-Tour potluck.
  • Mailing them to PAAST, 697 6th St, Suite 105, Prescott AZ 86301. Do not mail cash, instead write a check payable to PAAST.
  • Dropping them through the slot in the door to Suite 105. Please put your name on the envelope and seal it.

You may keep any unused raffle tickets for next year's Tour or return them with your raffle proceeds.
